Grants & Contracts Accounting

Grants and Contracts Accounting (GCA), a unit within the Finance & Administration, is solely responsible for the timely invoicing and financial reporting to sponsoring agencies. CGA provides financial oversight of sponsored projects and works collaboratively with Principal Investigators, administrators, SponsoredPrograms and other University units, and sponsors from award set-up through close-out.

SUAREC receives grants and contracts from many different sources. These sources fall into three major categories:

• Federal funds
• State funds (from other state agencies)
• Private and miscellaneous funds
